But don’t worry, I’m getting it fixed so we can carry on filming our epic film at Christmas in the summer! (’cos everyone’s busy and the camera’s still broken)

EDIT: Has anyone got £400 spare?

We’re hopefully about to start filming our next major movie, the details of which are still rather hazy (mike’s written the script).

This film will involve all of the Beasts and should be much better than the last one (and it’ll be in HD!)

In other news we also have a new tripod, a Velbon CX 686. This probably means nothing to you so here a nice pretty picture instead:

Finally, the website is now 1 year old! (but no-one noticed)

Newwws!! Well, part 1 has made it to 3000 views

Beastfilms now has a new High Definition camera (a Canon HV20 to be precise)…

As well as being HD, this camera is also much more stable than the last one due to the optical stabilization (which is much better than digital stabilization) and is also also much better at focusing and low light conditions.

Here’s a quick screenshot comparison of some of the footage from the new camera with some footage from all the other cameras we’ve ever used – you can see how BIG the image is in comparison (clicky to view actual size)
We might even put some test footage up if we get round to it.

Mizfar’s server died while he was away, so we’ve been pretty much offline for the last month or so.

However, he has returned and so we are back for all those that missed us noticed we were gone.

What’s that? No one did? Oh. Never mind then.

The Alien Film has more views on youtube than the weird ‘Mike Stripping’ vid (part 1 anyway).

I’ve been waiting for something to overtake it for years!

Now so long as everyone doesn’t click on that link and increase the view count then we’re safe

Just a little update (if anyone reads this)…

I promised some outtakes in my last post, and hopefully they should be on their way soon enough, so keep checking!

Also, we’re currently brainstorming ideas for our next film, and we should start filming sometime this summer, so long as we come up with an idea that isn’t crap before then (or one that is crap but we’ll do it anyway). Current ideas involve tribes, ninjas and lots of running.
